Clawesome Diary is a warm and fuzzy picturebook starring two real-life cats: Piddy, the older brother with big opinions and full couch privileges, and Coffee, a playful little sister who thinks the whole world is her playground. At first, Piddy believes this fluffball is stealing all his human affection. But when a “dog emergency” strikes, he puffs up, claws out, and rescues Coffee. A gentle tale of sibling bonds, a bit of jealousy, and learning to share both sunbeams and love.
Author and illustrator
Uni Jiang is an illustrator and cat lover whose stories explore sibling emotions through feline perspectives. She blends hand-drawn textures and collage to capture the warmth and humor of everyday family life. Now studying Children’s Book Illustration at Goldsmiths, she shares tales of her two cats online, turning real moments into gentle, relatable picture book narratives.
