Yassaman Emami
Yassaman Emami was born in 1991 in Iran. Because of the dictatorship and censorship in her homeland, her art serves as a form of expression. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from Isfahan University of Art and another MA in Illustration from University of Tehran. Yassaman has been shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Awards and Plymouth Illustration Awards in 2026. To date, she has created 4 unpublished picturebooks.
