Mr Hackett's Hats follows the story of an eccentric walrus with an amazing hat collection. One day Mr Hackett's favourite hat blows away and he has to figure out how to get it back from a rather mean and hungry crocodile.
Author and illustrator
Laura Bowder-Ridger is a South-London native with a passion for colourful and humorous storytelling and illustration. After completing her BA Hons in Illustration and Animation at UCA Canterbury Laura realised that her passion was children's book illustration and became a qualified Swimming teacher in order to be able to go to Goldsmiths and complete her MA. Laura's work is primarily watercolour and watercolour pencils with digital editing. Her aim is to create fun stories and characters with illustrations that children can pour over for hours on end.
