Wenwen Zhu
Wenwen Zhu, she builds her graduate exhibition series ‘Violet saw…’ with coloured pencils and soft pastels. Fine cross‑hatching in pencil holds the contours, while pastel dust is rubbed and smudged to create warm atmospheric tones. The exhibition installs original spreads alongside enlarged pastel studies, revealing her erasure marks as part of the final image.
