Ria Does Not Like School
Ria is a bright little toucan who loves to learn, but her differences mean she can’t always do things the same way as her classmates. So, she finds her own creative ways to complete assignments. But not everyone sees this as a strength, especially her very strict teacher Miss Feathers.
Author and illustrator
Andrea Sofía is a Puerto Rican children’s book illustrator and screen printer. Graduated with a Bachlors in Illustration with a concentration in Animated Illustration and Publication Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and now completing her masters degree in Children’s Book Illustration: Children’s Book Literature from Goldsmiths University of London. Andrea likes to mix her love for traditional mediums, such as ink pens and gouache ,with her recently discovered passion for screen printing to create colourful and humorous illustrations.
