Pip and the Big Decision
Pip has never been good at making decisions, until today. Faced with choosing honey or jam for her sandwich, Pip embarks on an imaginative quest, getting advice from a queen bee, a berry-picking mouse, and a mischievous magpie. But when trickery strikes, Pip discovers the answer was inside her all along. Bursting with humor, heart, and spaghetti, Pip and the Big Decision is a playful story about trusting yourself, and learning that your own choices are the tastiest of all.
Author and illustrator
Xara Bennett-Jones is a London-based illustrator inspired by folklore and classical literature. After completing an MA Hons in French and Classics from the University of St Andrews, she worked in Paris as an editor and graphic designer for UNESCO, focusing on education and gender equality. Now completing an MA at Goldsmiths, she blends traditional line work with digital colour to create playful stories that combine humour with themes, such as indecisiveness and self-confidence.
