Author and illustrator
Runxuan Li is an illustrator and storyteller with a background in architecture, children’s illustration, and graphic design. Coming from a design-focused path, she’s always been drawn to how visual language can express emotions we can’t easily put into words. Her work often explores quiet relationships, the inner worlds of children, and the beauty of small moments. In her recent picture book, she follows a visually impaired girl and her best friend on a gentle journey to discover light — a story about perception, friendship, and the invisible things that connect us.
